I would say get a full time MBA if you have financial stability or will have financial stability once you graduate and get a job. The whole idea about taking an MBA is not just a certification, it is to network with other MBA students.

I got my MBA from a university in Atlanta while I was working with my previous employer. I also was having my first child at that time which was why I could not have opted for a full time. After I got my MBA, I worked for another employer before becoming my own boss. You will learn the basics at any good educational institution, the only difference in my opinion is if you have the financial backing or want to go into a competitive career which demands an MBA from a good school, then go for full time.
